Broad River Watershed Association’s Annual Fall Float & Rivers Alive Clean-up!
Saturday, October 18 at 10am – Meet Camp Kiwanis.

Join BRWA for our Annual Fall Float, part of the Rivers Alive campaign to clean and preserve over 70,000 miles of Georgia’s rivers and streams. Meet at the Camp Kiwanis main pavilion at 10:00 am (follow the BRWA signs). They will paddle an UPPER section from the Hudson River at Hwy 29 back to Camp Kiwanis, a calm 5-mile float that is absolutely beautiful in the fall! We will pick up as much trash as possible on the float – participants in the clean-up get a free Rivers Alive T-shirt!

Bring your own canoe or kayak or rent one from Broad River Outpost (706-795-3242) for $15 per person. BRO will provide shuttle service to the put-in for all boats. Bring food and drinks for a day on the river. Afterward they’ll have some refreshments and music back at the pavilion. Also enjoy hayrides, pumpkin carving, games and more at Camp Kiwanis’ Fall Festival from 2-5PM!

So that they will have enough shuttle buses, please reserve your spot by October 15 by calling Jean Smith at 706-340-3187 or sending an email with your name, phone number, and number of people/boats in your party to info@brwa.org. http://ow.ly/i/75ngo
