It’s time for the Chattahoochee Riverke

April 19, 2015

It’s time for the Chattahoochee Riverkeeper’s 2nd Annual Art of Water Festival! Historic downtown LaGrange will play host to this free event where the Cochran Gallery, Lafayette Square and various restaurants and other venues are all within sight of each other. Throughout the evening and into the night, river-related works of art will be on display at the gallery. Across the street on the square, the festivities will continue in to the evening. A stage will be set up for live music and the screening of a series of locally produced short films. The setup and scheduling of the event will once again make for a family-friendly atmosphere, as the lawn on the square is ideal for picnics and enjoying the music and entertainment. The hope is you will bring out the camping chairs and blankets and join in on this incredible event!

But the fun doesn’t stop there. Guests will have the opportunity to take part in a silent auction at Cochran Gallery in which they will have the option to bid on select pieces of artwork on display. All proceeds from the silent auction will help CRK expand its program work in the middle Chattahoochee region.
